To further our mission of creating new works for choir by emerging NYC composers and following the resounding success of last year's program, the MCE will premiere these three new works on May 12, and the audience will vote on the grand prize winner during intermission! Rounding out the evening will be a set of folksongs and MCE favorites, including works by Arvo P ärt, Monteverdi, Brahms, Barber, Vaughan Williams, and Virgil Thomson.
